Overview
LexiGlance is an iOS language learning app for vocabulary, short review sessions, tiny dialogues, progress tracking, pronunciation help, and widgets. The app is designed to work without a LexiGlance account.
Information stored on your device
LexiGlance stores learning progress locally on your device, including review answers, words learned, due review timing, daily progress, selected learner and target languages, widget preferences, the widget word snapshot, and lightweight app settings. This information keeps your learning queue moving and updates widget content.
V1 does not include account-based cloud sync. Removing the app can remove locally stored progress, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.
Analytics
LexiGlance uses Firebase Analytics to understand coarse product usage, such as onboarding progress, review completion, paywall views, selected plan identifiers, language choices, restoration actions, and widget setup. This helps improve the learning flow.
Analytics events are designed not to include vocabulary terms, reading text, typed text, personal messages, or a LexiGlance account identifier. Firebase may process device identifiers such as Apple’s Identifier for Vendor, product interaction, and other usage or session data as described in the App Store privacy disclosure.
Crash diagnostics
LexiGlance uses Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports and technical diagnostics such as the app version, device model, operating-system version, session or performance data, and stack traces. This information is used to identify and repair failures. Crash reports are not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Purchases
LexiGlance Plus subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Purchase status is processed by RevenueCat so the app can unlock Plus features and restore purchases. Apple and RevenueCat may process transaction identifiers, an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history, and subscription status needed for purchase handling.
LexiGlance does not receive full payment-card details from Apple.
Widgets
LexiGlance widgets use shared on-device data to display the current word, translation, pronunciation, and example. Widget data is used to render the widget and refresh its timeline.
No account system
LexiGlance V1 does not include user accounts, login, backend sync, public profiles, messaging, or social features.
Support requests
If you contact support, the information you choose to send—such as your email address, device details, screenshots, and message content—is used to respond to the request and troubleshoot the issue. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.
Advertising and tracking
LexiGlance V1 does not include advertising SDKs and is not intended to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The iOS configuration does not include IDFA support for advertising.
Children
LexiGlance is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child sent personal information through a support request, contact us so the request can be reviewed and the information removed where appropriate.
Service providers
Apple, RevenueCat, Google Firebase Analytics, and Google Firebase Crashlytics process limited information for the purposes described above under their own terms and privacy practices.
Changes
This policy may be updated as LexiGlance adds features, languages, or integrations. The effective date will be updated when material changes are made.
