Frequently asked questions

Everything to know before your first glance.

Product, language, widget, subscription, privacy, and launch answers grounded in the current iPhone build.

Availability

Launch and devices

Is LexiGlance available on the App Store?

Not yet. LexiGlance is preparing for App Store release. The official URL already uses app ID 6768482395, but Apple’s public lookup currently has no listing. The website stays explicit about that pre-launch state.

Which devices are supported?

The current V1 target is iPhone running iOS 16 or later. The interface is portrait-oriented and includes a WidgetKit extension.

Is there an Android version?

No Android release is currently presented or promised. The shipped product and website positioning are iPhone-specific.

Learning

Languages and daily reviews

Which languages can I learn?

English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Russian, Thai, and Vietnamese can be used as learner and target languages. Your learner and target language must be different.

What is in a daily review?

The daily plan brings forward one new word, up to five practice cards, and one tiny dialogue. Correct answers move forward; missed words return sooner.

What are situation packs?

They are practical beginner vocabulary groups built around moments such as ordering food, taking transport, checking into a hotel, asking for directions, shopping, or visiting a pharmacy.

Does LexiGlance include pronunciation?

Yes. Word cards can include pronunciation or script reading help, and the app can play pronunciation using its iPhone speech flow.

Widgets

Home Screen and Lock Screen

Which widget sizes are supported?

Small and medium Home Screen widgets plus inline and rectangular Lock Screen widgets.

What can the widget show?

Choose compact, meaning, or phrase style. Depending on placement, the widget can show the term, pronunciation, one or more meanings, or a short example.

Why did the word not refresh at the exact interval?

LexiGlance prepares the timeline, but iOS controls exact widget refresh timing. The system can delay updates to protect battery and performance.

Plus and privacy

Subscriptions, accounts, and data

Is LexiGlance free?

The full learning experience and complete situation-pack catalog require LexiGlance Plus. The annual plan includes a three-day introductory trial for eligible App Store accounts; the monthly plan bills immediately.

What are the current prices?

The release configuration uses US reference prices of $5.99 monthly and $39.99 annually. The App Store shows the final local price, currency, tax, and offer eligibility before purchase.

Does LexiGlance require an account?

No. V1 does not include accounts, login, backend sync, public profiles, messaging, or social features. Learning progress is stored locally.

What third-party services are used?

Firebase Analytics measures coarse product usage, Firebase Crashlytics receives diagnostics, RevenueCat supports purchase entitlement state, and Apple handles App Store billing. See the privacy policy for the current disclosure.
